I am currently recording a CD of my original music, titled "Sacred Hands."  
I think that more and more, people are looking for deeper meaning in their daily lives.  Many also are looking for a deeper connection within themselves, and to follow an inner voice that leads them towards their dreams.  I have always felt that music flows through me from a higher source, and that my hands are the channel through which comes, perhaps, expression of the Divine. 

I tend to feel very passionate about the music I listen to, and that I create.  I allow the music to become a journey, and often find release in it as well. Even when I am playing the music, it is also playing me, and I become a listener just as enraptured as an audience member. 

I have been involved in theater, musicals, choral groups, and other performance-related activities for over 20 years. My skills include teaching voice, vocal accompaniment, and songwriting critique, as well as teaching piano, and being able to perform at private and public functions.  I can also compose music on-demand, as well as produce musical arrangements and sheet music notation.

I have also spent many years learning percussion from various cultures - West African, Middle Eastern, and Japanese.  My instrument collection is varied and includes djembe, ashiko, gungon, doumbek, frame drum or bendir, Brazilian berimbau, mbira/kalimba, singing bowls, and more.  I also studied Japanese Taiko drumming for two years, and found it to be my favorite type of drum style.
